Since I’ve had the Renault fix, the night charging has been fine, no more charge delayed, but as we’re getting some sun, I’ve had eco+ turned on and whilst initially it starts charging where there is 1.4+ as soon as a cloud appears, the dreaded charge delayed rears its head Again and it doesn’t wake up. Anyone seen it working fine, any setting I’m missing. Cheers

On the Eco+ settings on the Zappi, change the stop time to 240s this will dramatically reduce stop/start charging, if the car still goes to charge delayed you need to let Renault know that their software still does not fully comply with charging standards.

Since the Actis installation back in Nov I've generally had success with Eco+.
But suddenly it's been putting up the dreaded 'Charge Delayed' following each pause. I'm half wondering whether this might have anything do do with Renault's recent (16 March) auto-update 'Connectivity 1.1.0'. This is described as 'improvement of the quality of the connection to the Internet network'. So it's hard to see how it could have interfered with or compromised the Actis solution. Even so ...
        Any others with this experience?

Could it be simply that as we head towards summer, there is more solar available and perhaps causing excessive stop/starts in the Eco+ surplus charging? Many cars will tolerate a certain number of stop/starts but after a while they shut down in case of a possible EVSE fault?

Have you tried setting the stop delay to the max (240s). Also, lowering the MGL slider can help reduce the frequency of the stop/starts due to clouds etc.

I’m only guessing here, I don’t have the Renault car myself. Regards. Peter.

Thanks for the reply and suggestions. Despite the season/weather I've had plenty of opportunities for testing with the stop-start of Eco+. As I said, generally it has performed well, and certainly much better than pre-Actis.
I'll try tweaking the stop delay as you suggest.
If no improvement I'll get in touch again with the dealer. They were pretty good (and interested) re the Actis solution. So maybe they'll be inclined to get in touch with Renault and query the situation.

              Hi,
Was there any resolution to the “Charge Delayed” issue with the Megane?
              Thanks,
              Geoff

Yes, the Actis update discussed extensively earlier in the this thread, your dealer needs to install it for you.

How do I see if the Actis update was installed or not?

The only way to tell is to check Dialogys (Renaults internal system). A dealer could easily check this. The Actis bulletin doesn’t show on the centre screen, so owners wouldn’t know if it had been done. It was automatically applied to Meganes leaving the factory after September 2023. The other way to tell is to try a scheduled charge using a Zappi and see if it works, without lots of charge interrupted messages. We have access to Dialogys so if you want to share your reg number we can check for you.

                      Hi Bluehdi,

I’ve just had a Zappi installed and I have a 2022 Megan etech techno- would you be able to check to see if mine has had this software installed done if I share my reg, I’m based in Ireland. I’ve yet to try a scheduled charge as it was only installed yesterday and kind of nervous to test it out as I’m not sure how to clear it if it goes wrong 😂🙈😅
